I think of my creations like “farm-to-table” but for jewelry!

My process starts with the uncut rock – some comes from my own rock-hounding trips, others are chunks or slabs I buy in raw form. In my workshop I cut, shape, and polish each stone according to the patterns and colors it presents to me in this process.  This is the lapidary stage.

Once a stone is ready,  I move to my jeweler’s bench for metalsmithing — designing and creating settings in fine- and sterling silver.  The design process is two-fold:  one, showcase the unique beauty of the stone imagery; and two, make it easy & durable to wear in outdoor activities, to a remark-worthy presentation in more formal wardrobes.

Because the stone is the star and mother nature is the maker, you can be sure each piece is truly one-of-a-kind.

In every piece, I seek to create a wearable connection to nature's beauty.  I hope you love them as much as I do!
